About Signalyst
I'm Saravanan, the founder of Signalyst.
I've worked in the software industry for 20 years. Signalyst is the first product I've built that's entirely my own, something I own, support personally, and plan to grow for years.
I'm based in Scotland, and I chose Scottish company data deliberately. Scotland has roughly 13,000 to 18,000 new company incorporations per year, concentrated in a handful of postcode areas like Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, and Central Scotland. That's small enough to cover thoroughly, big enough to matter. It's also underserved. Most existing company data products treat Scotland as an afterthought to a UK-wide dataset. Signalyst is built the opposite way. It's Scotland-first, with filtering and industry tagging that works the way Scottish accountants, solicitors, and other professional service firms actually need it to.
What Signalyst does
Every working day, around 170 new companies incorporate in Scotland. Most of them need an accountant, a bookkeeper, an insurance broker, a web designer, an IT provider, or a solicitor within their first 30 to 90 days. The data to find these companies is public. It comes from Companies House. But checking it manually, filtering it by postcode and industry, and acting on it before competitors do is work that nobody has time to do consistently.
Signalyst does that work. It monitors Companies House continuously, filters for Scottish incorporations, enriches them with industry tags and postcode data, and delivers a clean daily briefing before 8am. Subscribers open their inbox and see yesterday's new Scottish companies, filtered to the postcode districts and sectors they care about.
About the company
Signalyst is built and operated by Aura Digital Labs Ltd, registered in Scotland as SC880637. The company is based in Scotland, run by me, and currently has no outside investment. That means the product is accountable to the people who pay for it, not to anyone else.
