Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes are 5-digit codes used by Companies House to classify the nature of business activities. When you register a company in the UK, you must select at least one SIC code that best describes what your company does.
The UK uses the SIC 2007 classification, which organises business activities into 21 sections (A-U), each containing multiple divisions, groups, and classes.
